Tell us more about your background

I’ve held senior roles at NRG (Head of Renewables Origination), Black & Veatch (Managing Director of Distributed Energy) and Nextracker (VP of Development). My expertise lies within scaling business development platforms – I created SunPower’s Federal practice ($0 – $150M in 3 years), I’m a founding member of NRG Renew, which was spun out into the US IPP Clearway Energy, I was an early executive in Black & Veatch’s new Distributed Energy platform and I also launched Nextracker’s development capital growth initiative.

What is your role at Revolv?

I lead Revolv’s Sales and Development group focused on identifying and prospecting new customers through final contracting and financing. I oversee a team of sales representatives, analysts and developers while creating the tools, resources and support systems to allow us to meet our customer needs and objectives.

What attracted you to Revolv?

The growth potential in the market and ability to build a company that aligns with my personal core values of: Learning, Curiosity & Growth; Collaboration, Kindness & Respect; Spiritual, Mental and Physical Health; Family Priority and Having Fun. The most fulfilling periods of my work life have been building and scaling growth platforms while working with people I like and trust.

What excites you the most about the EV fleet industry?

A few things! First, the ability to provide an option for fleets to transition their fleet from gas/diesel to electric, while also enhancing their operational, environmental and economic performance. Second, the growth potential in the commercial fleet market is huge and we get to become a key part of the solution by helping companies and government authorities transition their fleet. With the transportation sector accounting for almost 30% of US GHG emissions and medium and heavy-duty vehicles accounting for over 20% in that sector, we will have a direct and concrete impact on reducing emissions. Finally, the recent legislation created by California’s Advanced Clean Trucks and Advanced Clean Fleets are becoming the benchmark for other states – with over 90 million commercial vehicles in the US likely impacted.

What do you see as the future of fleets?

An emission-free fleet that improves the air quality and well-being of the communities they serve, all while operating in a safe, reliable and cost-effective manner.

What is one fun fact about you?

I play soccer twice a week and I also support Arsenal, Forest Green Rovers (the first carbon-neutral football club!) and the Oakland Roots.
