Role description
We seek a business development professional with a proven track record in identifying qualified leads, developing new channel partnerships, building compelling proposals, and closing deals. The ideal candidate has experience in the Fleet or Energy industries with deep existing Commercial & Industrial (C&I) customer relationships. Candidates will have an unwavering focus on developing long-term solutions that enable customers to achieve their zero-emission goals and create value through entire customer life cycle. This role is foundational to the company’s strategy of accelerating growth and simplifying zero emissions solutions for commercial fleets.
Role responsibilities
Identify, cultivate, and progress new customer opportunities that align with Revolv’s growth strategy
- Build pipeline of prospective customers by leveraging prior C&I relationships & new qualified leads
- Identify and develop new channel sales partners and build referral network to drive lead generation
- Manage and maintain a robust list of qualified leads with high conversion rate potential
- Deploy consultative selling techniques to uncover compelling opportunities to create customer value
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to convert opportunities into customers
- Partner with internal teams to generate compelling proposals that communicate the economic, operational, and environmental benefits of Revolv’s solutioning processes to anticipate requirements for success
- Partner with the Customer Development and Implementation teams to create custom pricing strategies that deliver competitive offers and achieve internal return requirements
Derive and share customer insights to improve customer awareness and Revolv value proposition
- Promote a customer-first mentality and build solutions from the outside in
- Be the voice of customer to capture requirements, concerns, feedback and future expectations from our prospects and customers
Required skills, knowledge & experience
- Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Environmental Studies
- 5+ years of experience in a sales role with demonstrated results
- Proven capacity to cultivate, develop and grow new business relationships within a quickly scaling business and dynamic market
- Existing relationships with Commercial & Industrial customers and business partners within Revolv target markets
- Highly effective communicator capable of developing early-stage relationships with prospective partners and customers while building successful long-term partnerships
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute compelling sales strategies
- Proven experience in deal negotiation, and closing
- Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to execute on goals
Preferred skills, knowledge & experience
- Knowledge of Electric Vehicle competitive landscape, trends, and customer frictions to adoption
- Experience in structuring, negotiating, and executing PPAs or other energy procurement contracts
- Ability to analyze, summarize, and communicate complex technical and financial information
- Experience in commercial sales within fleet management or environmental sectors
