Role description
Reporting directly to the Director of Fleet Operations, the Fleet Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing the operations, maintenance, and optimization of an electric vehicle (EV) fleet. This role ensures the fleet operates efficiently, complies with environmental and safety regulations, and aligns with organizational goals for sustainability and cost-effectiveness. The coordinator serves as a liaison between drivers, vendors, and internal departments to streamline fleet activities and implement innovative strategies for fleet electrification.
Responsibilities
Fleet management
- Oversee the daily operations of the EV fleet, including vehicle deployment, scheduling, and utilization.
- Fleet Management Information System (FMIS) administration.
- Manage preventative maintenance scheduling and procedures to minimize downtime and ensure compliance (Revolv inspections & DOT/BIT requirements).
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs to maximize vehicle availability and uptime performance.
- Assist with maintenance & repair invoice management.
Fleet monitoring
- Monitor vehicle performance, including battery health, charging efficiency and maintenance needs.
- Track the real-time status of charging stations, including availability, functionality and performance metrics.
- Remotely identify and address faults, connectivity issues or downtime promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Notify customers of any potential disruptions identified during proactive monitoring.
Cross functional collaboration
- Assist with vendor management to ensure quality and service level meet Revolv requirements.
- Generate customer-specific reports to highlight fleet uptime performance and/or areas for operational improvement as a part of routine, quarterly customer business reviews.
- Conduct analysis of customer data and generate insights and customer recommendations.
Administrative support
- Support the administration of telematics (i.e. allocations, billing).
- Manage warranty tracking and claim recovery.
- Manage vehicle title and registration process.
- Toll violation management.
- Customer Billing support as-needed.
Required skills, knowledge & experience
- 2+ years experience in fleet operations/management.
- Proficiency in fleet management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred skills, knowledge & experience
- Knowledgeable of electric vehicle competitive landscape, trends, and customer barriers to adoption.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in using computerized fleet management software/tools.
- Experience in generating and analyzing reports related to customer usage patterns, fleet performance and efficiency metrics.
