Role description
The Vice President of People at Revolv will be a pivotal leader, responsible for fostering culture and building and scaling the company’s people operations to support rapid growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of People will design and implement strategies that create a differentiated employee experience, develop organizational capability, and ensure compliance in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. This leader will foster a connected and inclusive workplace where everyone thrives.
Responsibilities
Employee Experience
- Design and Lead the Employee Lifecycle: Oversee the entire employee journey, from recruitment to offboarding, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience. Continuously monitor and measure employee engagement as a key success factor.
- Recruiting: Develop and execute a talent acquisition strategy that attracts, hires, and retains top-tier talent, ensuring a diverse and high-performing workforce aligned with the company’s culture and business goals.
- Onboarding Excellence: Develop a world-class onboarding program that rapidly integrates new employees into our culture and enables them to contribute effectively.
- Culture Building: Invest in and sustain a distinctive culture that attracts top talent and motivates employees to excel. Collaborate with leadership to align cultural initiatives with company goals.
- Remote Work Optimization: Implement systems and tools that create a connected and rewarding remote work environment.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Partner with leadership to enhance organizational diversity beyond surface-level metrics, creating impactful DEI initiatives.
- Upskilling and Development: Develop training and development programs to empower employees and managers to grow and excel in their roles.
HR administration
- Compliance and Governance: Proactively manage compliance requirements across jurisdictions and stakeholders.
- Benefits Strategy: Design and implement a compelling benefits roadmap, exploring opportunities for customization to meet diverse employee needs.
- Compensation Philosophy: Collaborate with the CEO to develop and operationalize a transparent compensation philosophy, including clear career paths and pay structures.
- Data-Driven Operations: Use software and analytics to streamline HR processes, reduce friction, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Required skills, knowledge & experience
- Proven experience leading people operations in a high-growth, remote-first startup environment.
- Deep expertise in designing and implementing scalable HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Strong track record of building inclusive cultures and advancing DEI initiatives.
- Excellent knowledge of compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and software tools to inform decision-making and optimize processes.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and collaborate across teams.
Preferred skills, knowledge & experience
- Experience working in technology or sustainability-focused industries.
- Background in managing global teams or multi-jurisdictional compliance.
- Certification in HR or People Operations (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
